design with intentionality.
1 | Your Wealth Garden is for those building beyond a job. It does not require nor limit you to a corporate career.
2 | You may have plants for work, businesses, assets, investments, and all other ways you could be making money or using your time.
3 | Each section, and each plant, is added with intentionality with a specific purpose - either to harvest from it today, or in the future.
4 | There is no right way to build a Wealth Garden, just a right way for you for this season in life.
What’s this all about?
-
- Helped generate $85m+ in revenue
- Became Head of Marketing at multiple startups
- Strategically pivoted into my dream job
Few years later, I got terminated from it, and the ladder I'd built my entire identity on just disappeared.
Even before that, I had been exploring new careers because I had discovered the ugly side of my dream industry.
I remember thinking, "All the dreams little Sweta could have dreamt of are already achieved...and then shattered. Now what?!"
This was 4 years ago.
I never went back to a 9-5.
I have 0 interest in the "ladder" now.Oh, and by the way, I’m Sweta Govani, founder of Your Wealth Garden. It’s lovely to meet you!

What eventually emerged from that period was one clear thought: I did not want my life to ever feel this fragile again. That was the moment I understood that real stability doesn't come from one employer.
I did not know to call it this at first, but I’ve since been building a Wealth Garden - an ecosystem with a mix of active to passive income streams at various stages of maturity.
There is a ton of intentionality in why each one exists. Each one has a job.
I’m not expecting the mango tree to bear fruit for years, but that tomato I hope has a big harvest soon 🍅 And, if I were leaving corporate today, the first thing I’d do is plant that basil that I know I can harvest next week.
Most importantly, no single one of these defines nor controls me.
A ladder only goes one direction, and it is controlled by someone else. A Wealth Garden is yours, and you get to keep adapting it for the rest of your life. -
Over the last 4 years since I left corporate, I have been slowly building my Wealth Garden with intentionality.
ACTIVE | Fractional CMO - I work with one early-stage startup as their fractional CMO, roughly 10 hours a week for $6,000/month. This is my anchor income: consistent and uses exactly the skills I spent 15 years developing.
ACTIVE | Happy Paying Customers - My coaching program and system for first-time founders trying to go from idea to their first 100 Happy Paying Customers. Founders can join at different levels, from $750 for 3 months of access to $1,875/month for weekly 1:1 coaching with me. This is my more scalable bet, applying my existing expertise.
SEMI-PASSIVE | Real estate - A 10-bedroom co-living property that cash flows around $1,500/month after all expenses, including my property manager. It’s semi-passive now. The goal is to add 1-2 more properties in the next year or two.
ACTIVE | Content creation - LinkedIn still powers my business. Instagram is brand new for me and it’s my long-term bet for more scalable offers.
PASSIVE | Tax strategy and investments - My goal is to become financially free in my 40s so I prioritize 401K, IRA, HSA investing, brokerage account, and tax strategy. Overtime, the goal is for this to be my primary source of income.
Seeds in my pocket i.e. what I am exploring adding to my Garden next: speaking, brand partnerships.
